The environment created allows patients to pass peacefully and with dignity. The Hospice provide second to none care to all their patients, caring to their every need during their time with the hospice, while they also create a caring environment where families can visit their loved ones. The work that the Hospice do during the person's illness is truly invaluable both to the patient and to their families and friends. Anyone who has/has had a loved one fight a losing battle with cancer will know how difficult an experience it can be, especially towards the end.
All their services are provided at no charge to patients.
They do incredible work providing specialist palliative care services for people in late stages of cancer. Francis Hospice are a voluntary organisation under the care of the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, they are based in North Dublin with centres in both Raheny and Blanchardstown and provide care for people in the surrounding areas. Wicklow (925m – 2 hours) finish at 12:00 on the 28th of July.
